Urban Inspired Economics

In many urban communities, families, and some individuals it is common knowledge that strategic financial management is an absent skill.  When individuals don’t incorporate insight and foreknowledge regarding their spending, properly stewarding their resources, and making wise investments it does spill over into their bloodline, connected groups, and expanded populations.  Existing in a perpetual state of lack creates a stronghold that becomes increasingly more difficult to break free of the longer one decides stay that way.
Becoming financially independent, debt-free, and/or wealthy is no easy task.  Like any other discipline, it will take sacrifice, a transformed mindset, a commitment, and the simple DECISION! God provides direction and guidance to all who will listen how to prosper, financially and otherwise.  In addition, there are countless financial literacy and other educational programs available to transition one’s economic status.
Creating versus consuming of resources is a topic urban consumers can and should begin applying a different logic.  As an inventive and dynamically talented community much is to be gained by challenging the notion that purchasing is better than producing.  Investing in assets that appreciate with time, not feeling compelled to keep up with the latest fashions, and saving more than you spending will lead to financial freedom.
